Maria Stylianidou holds a PhD in Taxation Law from the Law School of the University of Athens. She is a member of the Board of Hellenic Single Public Procurement Authority (HSPPA) and she has collaborated with international organizations as a regular member of several working groups.
She teaches at the Hellenic Open University and the National School of Public Administration while she has written monographs and published scientific articles mainly in the field of taxation law. She is also tutor at the Open University of Cyprus and Leader of the course MPA 513, Master in Public Administration, University of Nicosia-Law Department.
Her recent monograph titled "Protection of Whistleblowers, officials in public sector - Whistleblowers in Ιnternational Οrganisations and States of Europe" was published by the publishers “ NOMIKI VIVLIOTHIKI” in April 2017,while a new monograph is under publication by the publishers “SAKKOULA”, entitled “Taxation of cross-border inheritances and donations through the judgments of the European Court of Justice”.
